Ascent Megève lets a selection of chalets and apartments by the season in Megève, Combloux, Demi-Quartier, Praz-sur-Arly and Cordon. Winter is let as a full season, from the week before Christmas, or a short season, from early January (dates vary by home); some homes are also available for the summer. A format designed for long stays, more comfortable than a standard holiday rental: everything is included except the local tourist tax, and one dedicated contact looks after you on site. Frequently asked questions

When does a seasonal rental in Megève start and end?

Winter is let in two formats. The full season (grande saison) normally starts on the Monday of the week before Christmas, and the short season (petite saison) on the first Monday after New Year’s Day. Both end in March. Exact dates depend on each owner, and we confirm them on request.

Can I rent for the summer season?

Yes, for homes whose owners allow it. The summer season runs from the last week of June to the first week of September. Contact us to find out which homes are available.

Can I rent for just one or two months?

For some homes, yes, on request. Contact us with your dates: we check with the owner and get back to you.

Do you also offer weekly rentals?

Yes. Homes that have not been let for the season by the end of November switch to short-term rental and are then available by the week. Contact us to check availability.

How much does a seasonal rental in Megève cost?

The price for the season is shown on each listing. As a guide, the average price for a season across the homes we manage is around €10,100 for a one-bedroom apartment, €16,400 for two bedrooms, €26,000 for three bedrooms, €39,700 for four bedrooms or more, and €50,900 for a chalet. The price depends on location, size and the season format you choose.

What does the price include?

Everything is included, as with a holiday rental: utilities and our agency fees are part of the price, so there are no energy bills to pay on top. Cleaning is included too; we agree the cleaning dates with you once your booking is confirmed. The only extra is the taxe de séjour (the local tourist tax), which is always charged separately.

Which areas and villages are your homes in?

Most of our homes are in Megève, in the village centre or in the Rochebrune, Jaillet and Mont d’Arbois areas. We also rent chalets and apartments in Combloux, Demi-Quartier, Praz-sur-Arly and Cordon.
