In Les Granges, Megève, on route de Lady, this main apartment of 120 m² of recently renovated space runs over three floors of a family chalet at the end of a no-through road. Nothing faces it, so it keeps the quiet of the neighbourhood and an open outlook to the mountains.

On the ground floor, a private entrance leads to a utility room reserved for the apartment, with a washing machine, an iron and a drying rack. It also serves as storage for skis and boots.

On the first floor, the living area, under a timber ceiling with exposed beams, brings together a sitting room with a cast-iron and stone wood-burning stove, a 43-inch smart TV, a dining space and a semi-open kitchen fully equipped with a four-ring induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, capsule coffee machine, kettle and toaster, as well as raclette and Savoyard fondue sets. The windows and the 25 m² balcony look out to the mountains, and the garden is reached on the level.

Three bedrooms sleep six. On the first floor: a main bedroom with a 160 × 200 cm double bed and an en-suite shower room with shower, basin and separate WC, plus a bedroom with two single beds suited to children and a desk. A second shower room with WC and heated towel rail completes this level. On the second floor, under the roof, a large bedroom with a 160 × 200 cm double bed and a desk corner. Every bedroom has electric roller shutters.

The walls, roof and windows have all been recently insulated, and the wood stove takes over from the radiators on winter evenings; a starter supply of logs is left ready on arrival. A garden shared with the co-ownership surrounds the chalet, two to three cars can park in front of the entrance, and the internet connection is fibre.

The Rochebrune slopes are 900 metres away, a ten to fifteen minute walk, with a ski-back across the fields followed by a five minute stroll. The centre of Megève, 2.5 km away, is twenty-five to thirty minutes on foot along a road popular with walkers, or a few minutes by car.

The apartment occupies the upper floors of a family co-ownership of two apartments. The second, at garden level, is lived in by its owners, and the two apartments have separate entrances.

Non-smoking. Pets are not accepted. The garage is not included in the rental.
