This recent chalet is in the Cassioz area at the foot of the legendary 'Emile Allais' ski run, 2.5km from the Rochebrune cable car departure and right by a ski-bus stop. It comprises: on the garden level: an entrance with storage; a living area with a south-facing terrace, a dining corner, a lounge area with wood-burning stove and an American-style equipped kitchen. Stairs lead to a mezzanine with a skylight, separate toilet, a fold-down double bed for extra sleeping space, and a double bedroom with storage opening onto a south-facing balcony with en-suite shower. In the basement: a laundry room, separate toilet, a bedroom with bunk beds lit by an English-style window, and a 2-person shower/steam room. Our favourite feature: the open mountain view, the rural setting and the chalet's contemporary decor. The price excludes running charges (water, electricity, heating, tourist tax) but includes snow clearing.
